German lesson

I arrived in Munich, Germany on the 3rd of Sept 2004. I Spent one month german language course in Carls Duisberg Centren (CDC) in Munich. The students needed to take entrance exam so that they would be located to the suitable level for the german class.

I was offered Mittelstufe 1.2 or Class A6. Which mean it was an intermediate 2 /4, despite of my 2 years german lesson in NUS.. sigh... :(

I had 2 german teachers. The lessons were pretty relaxing and slow, comparing to the lessons in NUS. I really felt that the time that we spent we could actually learn more than what we were actually learning at that time. One month course costed about €740.

My classmates were from Japan, France, Spain and Guatemala.
The funny thing was... none of them can speak english. Neither can I speak french or spanish. Thats why we had no choice but to speak german.

It was so funny when we were trying to express our opinions to each other but.... couldnt...HAHAHAA to think about it.. HAHAHAAHAHAHAHA

Class photo 2. That time was funny. Just coincidently all of us were wearing red. For that rare incidence, we decided to fetch our camera and take that photo.
And one time all of us were wearing blue.

The teachers were not only interested to teach, but they were also interested to know more about us. Therefore the teacher invited us for a beer at Augustina Beer garden.



Beer in Munich mostly is sold per mug. It is called in german "ein maß Bier". (1 Liter)
