October FEST!! YES!!

Today October Fest has finally started!! Everyone in Munich is heading towards the town. The trains, trams, buses were full of people, packed like sardines!!!

There was a big, long parade at the beginning. It lasted about 1 and the half hours.
The people from CDC were going there together.

Xiao Guai and I were waiting eagerly.

After the parade, all the people moved towards to Theresienwiese, where the fest took place.
At the fest, there were not only beer tents, but also many games and gifts stalls.

Before I came to Germany, I was told that the beer in Germany is very cheap. Well... not during october fest...

The tent below is from HB beer tent. In one tent there were easy few thousands people. There were beer bands playing beer songs.. and all the people will join along to sing!! Some will dance on top of the chairs or tables. Very happening.

I tried the free fall game (on the left). scary....

The one above.... only crazy people will play... :P

Khon, Xiao Guai and I

Well well, I visited october fest 5 times in the month of Sept. Quite a good place to hang out with friends....

The Neuschwanstein Castle!!

CDC organises many activities for the students there to take part. One of the activities I liked the most is the trip to the Neuschwanstein Castle. I wanted to visit this castle while I was in Germany 2 year ago but it didnt work out. and finally..expectedly....

But before we were heading to the castle, we needed to drop by the invent office to pick up someone there. So while waiting, few of us alight from the bus to take some photos.

She is from Zambia. Her name is quite difficult for me to read, so I just call her She-ley. She can sing very ver well!! just like the singer in sister act movie...

She is from Columbia. I always call her SeƱorita!! -Because she taught me spanish. Besides, she also taught me how to dance. Quite a sweet and friendly girl.

Behold!!! The Neuschwanstein!!!

The one between me and She-Ley, is Franscico, from Guatelama. At that time our german still couldnt make it. I cant speak spanish and he cant speak english... so... until now I still didnt understand how we could communicate with each other. heheeheh

The one far to the right.... I cant recognise who he is in this photo....

The group of MEN!! From Germany, Spain, Russia and Malaysiaaa!!

The whole group of invents... except me in the middle. The one under my left arm is the head master of CDC, and also our tourist guide.

BTW, just incase you wanna ask what Invents is, they are people who were sent from their own country to Germany to learn German Technology. So in order to learn the Tech, they have to know german and thats why all of them are in CDC learning german. Their cost of living and courses are sponsored by Germany Government. What a generous government.

Opera - LA LA LI~~~~!!! LA LA LO~~~~!!!

CDC organised a trip for a opera. That was my 1st time visiting opera. The cheapest entry was about 9 Euro. 1st i thought the seat for 9 Euro is pretty far away, but no... We didnt even get to sit!! we had to stand for the whole opera on the top level. haaha what an experience...

The name of the opera was Carmen. It was a french opera, which german translation subtitle on a screen.

Below are some photos from there.

In front of the stage, there was a big orchestra.

The seats and moving room are pretty small. If you sit in the middle, you wont be able to go out unless the one beside you stand up to make way.

Dachau-Concentration Camp

We had lots of free time in CDC after the german lesson. The 2 french girls wanted to visit concentration Camp in Dachau and invited us to join.

This photo was taken outside to camp.

Arbeit macht Frei: It means Work provide Freedom. These 3 words are quite sensitive in Germany. One should not say this phrase in the public.

Below are some photos in the camp.

This photo was taken from a photo...

Toilet :P

Wardrobe.

Bed...

The place is very big. The weather was hot too.. (it was still summer in September). We spent about.. 3 hours there and then we were tired and they took the train back to CDC. We were lost while looking for the train station :P

Olympia Turm

CDC organised a trip to Muenchen Olympia tower. It was leaded by Khon, one of the student helper who was doing his national service in CDC.

This place is very big. There are Olympia Sport Center, Football stadium, a big park and also student hostels.

Below are some photos.

That is the olympia tower.

The football stadium

At the park, there are lots of animals. Ducks, Birds, Rabbits... We wont see that in Malaysia or else the next day you will see the same duck at a food stall.

From the Tower, one can have bird eye view 360 degree of the area.

BMW building.

Foot ball stadium again.

View seen from the top of the tower

After that I ran up to the hills at that area. The scenary there is super, cooling weather, perfect place for dating.
